A tour of the island will reward you with magical landscapes and historical flashbacks.

Traditional Settlements

Walk the narrow paved alleys of Parikia, Naousa, Lefkes, Marpissa, Prodromos, Antiparos or other smaller villages and let your senses wander to admire the unique architecture, smells and sounds of the Cyclades.

Panoramic and Sunset Views

Church of Panagia Ekatontapiliani

The "Church of the 100 Doors”, built in the 4th century AC, is one of the best-preserved Orthodox churches and is considered an important Byzantine monument. Despite its name, legend has it that there are currently 99 doors and the 100th door will not open until the Hagia Sofia church in Constantinople becomes Orthodox again.

Archaeological Museum

The museum houses exhibits from the excavations of Paros and Antiparos dating back to the Neolithic period, such as the statue of the Mermaid Gorgo, the statues of Artemis and Nike and two marble relief plates from the Memorial of the ancient Parian lyric poet Archilochus.

Archaeological Sites

Visit the Ancient Marble Quarries, the Mycenaean Acropolis, the Ancient Cemetery, the Sanctuary of Delion and Asklipios, the Sanctuary of Apollo on the island of Despotiko, the Frankish Castle in Parikia or the Venetian Castle in Naousa.
