1. GENERAL INFORMATION
The use of this website and the services offered by EXOCHI TRADITIONAL HOUSES are subject to the following Booking Terms and Conditions. Booking a house means that guests have agreed to and accepted the Booking Terms and Conditions. For the purposes of the Agreement, «Guests» means the person making the booking and all other people booked to stay in the property during the rental period, while «we», «us», «our» means the «Owners» of the property.
2. BOOKING PROCEDURE
Guests may submit a booking request via our “Contact Us” form, by phone or email. A non-refundable deposit of 30% must be paid into our bank account within three (3) business days from the date of the booking request. The percentage of the deposit may vary depending on the total rental price. However, we guarantee that the total rental price is not subject to changes or local taxes. The booking will only be confirmed when we receive an email with the transfer receipt to exochiparos@gmail.com. Full payment must be made one week before arrival by bank transfer, or upon arrival in cash or credit card (Master Card and Visa Card accepted only).
3. CANCELLATION POLICY
All deposits are non-refundable. In case of cancellation they can be converted into a voucher that does not expire and can be redeemed on another date subject to availability or can be used by another person if they are able to present it at the time of reservation. Guests who depart before the scheduled date will not receive a refund. Although it is unlikely that we will need to make changes to confirmed reservations, we will notify you as quickly as possible. If for any reason beyond our control, we are unable to provide you with the house that you have booked, we reserve the right to rebook you to a similar or better house on the same property at no additional charge. However, if this is not possible or you do not wish to be rebooked, we will cancel the booking and refund you the full amount, although we will not be liable for any cancellation fees for travel arrangements.
4. INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that our guests take out comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for trip cancellation and personal injury.
5. USE OF THE PROPERTY
The minimum rental period is three (3) nights. Exceptions may be allowed based on availability. The number of guests cannot exceed the maximum number indicated in your booking email. If we discover that there are more guests than the stated number occupying the property, we have the right to ask you to vacate the property immediately or to charge additional fees. Visitors are permitted, but they are not allowed to stay overnight. Guests are not allowed to engage in illegal activities on the property or activities that could be considered a nuisance or annoyance to the owners or the residents of neighboring houses. Parties and other events to which a large number of guests are invited are prohibited unless approved in advance by the owners. In the event of unauthorized use of the property in this manner, the owners reserve the right to ask all guests to leave the property immediately without refund. Smoking and pets are not allowed in the house. Children are welcome. However, the property is not safe or suitable for children under 2 years old, as there is no baby equipment and no additional safety measures have been taken. In case of non-compliance with these terms of use, we may cancel the booking or stop any event immediately without being responsible for any refund or compensation.
6. PROPERTY DAMAGE
Guests are responsible for any loss or damage they cause to the property or its contents. They must report alny damage to the owners and pay the cost of repair or replacement. The property should be left in good condition and undamaged by guests upon departure. Should guests behave disrespectfully towards the property and its contents, the owners reserve the right to ask all guests to leave the property immediately.
7. GUEST INJURY DISCLAIMER
Guests personally assume all risks of physical injury or death that may exist in connection with their use or occupancy of the property. We cannot be held responsible under any circumstances for any accident or injury to guests, their guests or their children during their stay. All guests must follow the rules and instructions regarding safety issues, use common sense, and parents must supervise their children at all times.
8. CAR PARKING AND VALUABLES
We are not responsible for any damage or theft to guests’ vehicles parked in front of the property. Valuables left on the property are at the guests’ own risk. We cannot be held responsible for the loss or misplacement of valuables during their stay in the property or after departure.
9. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Check-in is possible from 1:00p.m. to midnight. Checkout must take place before 10:00a.m. We cannot guarantee early check-in or late check-out unless confirmed in advance. Luggage can be stored for later pick-up upon request.
10. ROOM SERVICE
If desired, cleaning and change of bed linen and towels can be done every three (3) nights free of charge. An additional fee of €10 applies for each additional day of cleaning. However, guests should leave the property in good condition upon departure.
11. TRANSFERS
A vehicle is recommended to get to the property and get around the island during your stay, as there is no public transport nearby. The owners do not take responsibility for the transfer of guests, but subject to prior arrangement and circumstances permitting, we can arrange a transfer from/to the port or airport.
12. ELECTRICITY, WATER SUPPLIES AND INTERNET SERVICES
In some cases, there may be a shortage of electricity and/or water, as the property is located on an island. We assume no responsibility for such events that go beyond our control and we cannot guarantee prompt restoration of service. Even if free Wi-Fi is available in the houses, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to restore the Wi-Fi connection quickly in the event of technical problems.
13. LAW AND JURISDICTION
Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of Greece shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute that may arise from the above contract or its formation.
